Few days ago, I finished reading The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. In it, she frequently used the word bromide, which was new for me, in its non-AgBr usage. The book was interesting, and I think I’m going to read Atlas Shrugged as well.
Today, for the first time in my life, I spent evening of December 31 outside my home. I didn’t go to any party/celebration, just went to eat out. It was cold, and raining outside. The cashier at the place was a guy from Delhi. Food was warm, and tasty. And then, I walked for few minutes in the rain. That was cold, wet, and nice.
And then, we went to café, and was served by Clark Kent. ;-)
After this, on the way back, we found out that there is no public transport available until next year. So we took a cab, and the cab driver was a really nice talkative person. I didn’t talk much though. And then he surprised us, by playing an Indian radio station. :-)
It is a good last day of the year (so far). :-)
